A whole pile of tools that I'd ordered online arrived today - some of it not very logically packaged thanks to Amazon - one giant box per clamp... but it's here and even before the wood, which arrives sometime between 08:00 and 14:00 tomorrow. That's going to be fun as the Hausmeister (doorman kinda) dude said that someone's nicked all of their good trolleys :(
Oh and the truck has to be less that 7.5 tonnes or they wont let it up the driveway *fingers crossed* on that.
The boxes being checked out buy our curious house tiger and their contents, mmmm power tools...
I've realised that I still need to get one more thing - a long hose for the vacuum cleaner to fit to the dust extraction of these puppies - thankfully all my power tools are Bosch so it's only one fitting for everything.
Expect a post about wood tomorrow, unless the 15 flights of stairs maims me :/
Good Luck with the wood (can't you get delivery guys to bring it up?) I'm impressed by how much you guys did yourselves. Need to show last two posts to hubby.
ReplyDeleteUm delivery guys, well that implies that there will be more than one - usually there's a guy and a truck - he drives it but doesn't touch the stuff. If I'm lucky he'll have a forklift to get it all off the truck...
ReplyDeleteAnd carrying heavy stuff up 15 flights of stairs - I don't think I'd even be able to get anyone to do that in Australia let alone in Germany...
