Масленица

Today was Масленица (Shrovetide), which is the celebration of the last day of winter and beginning of spring. There were quite a few people celebrating around the city. There were lots of little stands selling pancakes as the symbol of the sun, and quite a few people dancing and just enjoying themselves. Parents and I went walking around and even bumped into some very very distant relatives - who I didn't even know existed... funny. Some photos and a video below :)
