Jack's Mum Emmi was here for a week and we spent some nice evenings chatting and also walking around too. We visited the German History Museum... which is huge, but nonetheless very recommended. One night we had pizza at home and watched "Thank you for smoking" - a movie which was witty and generally enjoyable.

And this weekend we had uncle Bernard, auntie Irene, and cousins Olaf and Meike here. They were on their way to Rostock to celebrate Bernard's 70th birthday, and we were very happy they stopped by. We did a quick tour of the city yesterday and then had raclette at our place (cheese grill thingie that is very easy and yummy). We were also on Potsdamer Platz last night and something must've happened because all of a sudden about 7 or 8 police cars arrived with airhorns and surrounded the area around Arcaden... must look out for it in the paper...
