Venice

So we were in the romantic capital of europe over the weekend (Venice of course). The city was beautiful, the weather was fantastic - I got my first European tan :) so it was a great weekend all around.

There are no cars allowed in the city (just one bridge/highway connects it to the mainland and there is basically just a carpark, train station and bus stop there.
We did manage to see a bit of Chappel St action as people cruised around in their (kinda)hotted up speed boats, very slowly with their stereos blairing. We both nearly p1ssed ourselves on these occasions.

Overall a highly recommeded and not terribly expensive holiday (appart from the accomodation - which at 60€ a night in something not so polished including hunchbacked little italian with a very basic grasp on today let alone english - though she was kinda cool).
