Today is 5 years that we've been in Berlin. As usual here's a post to commemorate this occasion. As is also customary at this time we reflect on our choice to stay here, vs. going back to Aus. Right now we're (yet again) at crossroads. There are many pros and cons in either choice. We haven't decided anything and will probably decide and redecide again.
One thing I will write though is that this last year has been a wonderful year. Mainly of course because our little son was born and brought us so much happiness. Our respective parents were here to visit and have spent time with us and with their grandson. We had amazingly beautiful autumn and were very lucky to be able to go for so many walks and admire the outside world. Basically if I had to use one word to describe 2010 it would be 'family'.
Berlin has been kind to us and it is a good place to be no matter what.
