The renovatory, the curly and the fluffy

Here's just a quick update to say that we've come back from Russia and now back at our renovations in the German capital. There's still quite a bit of small stuff that needs to get done... along with the bed that Jack is planning to do himself... we bought these huge bits of wood and we'll see what happens with it :)

I still want to write a post about our trip to the Altai mountains but need to organise pictures first...

In the meantime I decided to try these new curlers I got yesterday... and they had a somewhat of a very strong effect turning me into something very sheep-like... so now as my Mum would say, my head is in an artistic mess. Also yesterday while studying I've tried my long-awaited-for glass teapot, which is very cute... but I made a mistake of brewing green tea in it which made the tea taste bitter after a while - have to try it with more berry-herbal types.

In other news, if everything works out well with Australian Quarantine the fluffy member of my family - Mr Unix, will join us here in Berlin on the 18th of April thanks to the many running-arounds by Anya in Melbourne - thank you cousin, you are SO wonderful *big hugs* we'll see how it all goes... it's actually kinda funny filling in all these forms like "Notice of Intention to Export Live Animals (other than livestock)" and "Shipping Instruction Form" for "1 x Cat"... poor little thing will be on three planes for about 24 hrs *sigh* I hope he'll be ok... and we'll have lots of Whiskas waiting for him here upon arrival.

Anyway - more posts some time, when we get more time :)
