One thing that a student needs is a ... beer... no! A desk! For lack of space, my inventive Jack has resorted to the following construction - as you see, probably not the most stable, longlasting, or comfortable. This has been our breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, mid-afternoon snack, dinner, supper, mid-night snack table, which on top of serving food, served many more purposes...
But yesterday all that was about to change - we went to Bauhaus (local Bunnings equivalent) and bought an Arbeitsplatte (Workbench), green chair, green filing draws named Greeny... and prior to that Jack acquired five extendible/telescope legs from IKEA. So over this weekend Jack, the Arbeitsplatte and a drill named Jadd (Jack's Australian Drill Double) got together to attach legs, polich the table top and varnish it...
