In 2005 PJs left the friendly shores of Down Under and went on a European adventure. Berlin is now home to the two of them and their two sons - Tim and Tom. The current happenings appear here with questionable regularity ;) Stay tuned...

1st of May
Wanting to avoid being beaten by the punks we decided to escape the day's rush by taking a nice walk in Grunewald (Green Forrest). It is actually a real (although small) forest in one of the westen suburbs of Berlin. The day was sunny and not too hot, so it lent itself to a nice stroll. To my surprise there were many sand paths for horse riders, and hence lots of horses. Somehow I didn't think that there would be any horses within the vicinity of the city. Along with horses we came accross a few bunnies, and even baby bunnies - sadly they didn't want to come home for dinner, so we had to suffice with just a photo. We walked through the forest to the Grunewaldturm, which is a big memorial to Kaiser Wilhelm I. From the top one can get a pretty good view of western Berlin. It was a good day.
